About the instructor

Nika Chkheidze

I became interested in financial markets about 10 years ago. I began my professional career at a prop trading firm, where I day traded US stocks. I then moved into financial analysis and spent three years at Finance Makers.

Now I want to share the knowledge and experience I have gained with students, going beyond theory. Throughout the course, we will analyze companies together, look for interesting stocks, and build a new portfolio step by step.

My goal is to show you how the market really works: how companies are valued, how expectations are formed, where risk comes from, and how investors make decisions.

I do not sell trading signals, and I am not a “trading guru.” I want to teach you to think independently and make your own decisions. The better you understand what you are doing, the less you need to take risks blindly.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Black Swan?

The course uses modern, carefully designed slides and includes quizzes and detailed explanations. The program covers the core principles of financial markets, from market fundamentals to company analysis and portfolio planning. You will gain knowledge that many other courses do not cover at all or discuss only superficially.

Is the course online or in person?

The course is currently available online only. An in-person format is also planned for the future.

How long is each lesson?

Each lesson lasts approximately 1–2 hours.

Will I also learn about trading?

The course focuses primarily on investing, but the knowledge is also highly useful for traders. We will study how markets work, risk, company analysis, expectations, and the factors that influence price movements—topics often missing entirely from the content of so-called “trading gurus.”

Will the course tell me which company to buy?

No. The course does not sell signals. It introduces different investing strategies and teaches you how the market works and how to analyze a company. By the end, you should be able to select companies independently based on your own goals and risk tolerance.

Do you provide a certificate?

No. We do not provide a certificate because the course aims to develop real knowledge and practical skills rather than provide a formal document.

How much does the course cost?

The introductory lesson is free. If you choose to continue, the full course costs $100 or its equivalent in Georgian lari.

Better to spend $100 on learning than lose $5,000 to a mistake.
